Stacked or not...don't forget history. It's the Jets! Don't forget 1983. Many so called experts picked the Jets to make the Super Bowl that year.....Instead, we missed the playoffs. It's the Jets! We got the great Favre who went to the NFC Championship game with the Vikings...with the Jets, we missed the playoffs entirely. It's the Jets! We had Bill Parcells who went to the Super Bowl with the 2 teams he coached before he coached the Jets. Jets never made it to a Super Bowl under Parcells....why????... It's the Jets! It's nice to get pumped over your team. I do too...but I always keep one thing in mind all the time.....It's the Jets!
take your SOJF attitude and get it far far away. the same old jets are long gone and the woe is me jet fan attitude should be too.
One thing for sure this year, The Jets have the Team to win any game! They are dangerous to every team in the NFL.
I hate fans like this... You're a douchebag! Don't forget Mark Sanchez improved tremendously over the year. You're a douchebag! Many teams have been picked to go to the Superbowl but didn't. You're a douchebag! Favre had a shitty year with us and a good year with MIN. You're a douchebag! Maybe you should stop being such a pessimistic clown. Keep one thing in mind all the time...... You're a douchebag!
'99. Bought my Vincenzo jersey the Saturday before the season started...little did I realize @ the time that a Tom Tupa jersey would have been a more appropriate purchase for the next day's kick in the balls and punch in the gut.
oh man i remember that day. i was playing pop warner football at the time and my game ended just in time for us to hear the start of the game on the drive home. so we are sitting at a burger king drive thru and my dad just gets the game on the radio and the first thing we hear is that vinny is down and in lots of pain. such an awful way to start a season.
I understand the truth hurts. I also understand it makes unintelligent fans feel better to name call. You're a sad case, Lynkx....and it's also sad when other unintelligent posters think your immature, mindless babble is a "win". But thanks for the chuckle. But I'll keep the high road and simply say, it will always be the same old Jets until we jump the enormous hurdle we've been unable to jump in 41 years...win a championship. I'm fairly sure most Jets fans feel the same, but don't have the gutts to put themselves out there. I'm in the majority here.
The SOJF voices in your head do not count as real people. Why don't you just take your personal pity party someplace else. Like the bottom of a rapidly flowing river.
Ha. I remember buying an "autographed" Vinny Testaverde jersey on ebay the summer of '99. It came with a piece of paper that said "certificate of authenticity". What the hell did I know? Two weeks later, Vinny goes down. Season over. Bah.
Oh, go on and leave the poor guy alone. It's championjets69 alter ego! Besides, older than dirt Jets fans like me have to push even older than dirt Jets fans around in their wheelchairs. Somebody has to do it. And speaking of Champ, it's championjets68, hello. See what I mean?
This is why I have always been a proponent of euthanasia. Some Jets fans just need to be led behind the tool shed.
This is said by a guy working fast to complete his 9,000th posts! LOL!!! Talk about a guy who either needs to... GET A LIFE... or be simply taken out of his pathetic misery. I love being barraded by this kind of a loser. It cracks me up.
Wow, you can read a post count. Good for you. Now let's go with logical comprehension: -We have a great GM who works well with a great head coach and knows how to acquire the right players for his system. Transversely, we have a head coach whose coaching staff knows how to let the scouting department do their job instead of interfering with the front office based on workout numbers. -We have a young yet developing team that knows how to run the ball and take pressure off of our even younger QB. Sanchez is getting protected by the scheme and has great weapons - Edwards as a deep threat; Cotchery as a safety valve; Keller as a great intermediate option; Holmes as an underneath and deep threat with the ability to create great mismatches with every nickel back and almost every safety in this league; Tomlinson is great in the passing game as a receiver and a pass-blocker - to excell and work within the system. - Our defense is top in the league and we're in an excellent position to add great personnel depth in the first two rounds of the draft which will only make it better. Your pathetic "whoa is my team", fan as victim, SOJF attitude is dated and pathetic. You are nothing but a troll.
Being excited is nothing new, I can talk myself into making the playoffs or such, but being this confident about the team's chances of being good is really foreign.
Your opinions are the definition of unintelligent. Going to the AFC championship with a rookie QB and HC is not jumping a hurdle? Just face it dude, SOJ only exists in your mind. BTW I'm craping my pants waiting for the season to start.
