Just thinking ... having Tomlinson in the backfield with Brad Smith and Leon will give opposing defenses fits. Tomlinson has thrown a number of TD passes in his career, and we saw how productive Brad could be running that formation at the end of last year. With our stable of recievers and Keller at TE, it should allow Shotty to really do some creative things out of that formation. I can't wait to see it.
Yep LT has thrown 7 touchdowns in his career. 2 more then Kellen Clemens. We could have a great Wildcat. Direct Snap to Bradsmith, and LT behind him. damn schotty is gonna have fun with the books.
Clever offensive plays are all well and good, but I find that most games are won by teams whose big blokes stop the opposition's big blokes while the bloke with the ball throws it to the bloke who runs really fast.
I can't wait to see that girls balloon knot. I like throwing in the occasional wildcat. We were actually pretty productive. BS averaged over 11 yards a carry last year in limited duty. I'd like to see him throw for 150yards, run for 300 yards and have 200 yards receiving this year.
I'm just hoping that Brad Smith is our wildcat QB,he's better than leon at it.Granted Leon isn't bad at it but Smith did a good job from it.
Yeah sucks Leon went down, but we found out Brad Smith is a special player. and i'd like Brad Smith to lead the Wildcat.
I wouldn't mind seeing a little wildcat, but I'd rather Brad Smith throw the ball than LT. However, our offense should have enough options that we don't need to resort to trickery like we did last season. A little bit won't bother me, but I'll be pissed if I see triple reverses on 2nd and short on crucial drives that result in a 10 yard loss.
We need to get Leon back on the team first. Maybe send a jihadist to go visit his agent and help the process along.
