    Cotchery: Receiving corps now complete

Cotchery is such a god damn class act. He could care less how he plays this year I know this, and all Jets fans do. Guy will do anything, and always says the right things. :jets:

edit: also I like the role LT seems to be playing on this team. Reminds me of the Howard Stern show where Howard Stern like Rex is outrageous speaks his mind, and makes bold comments. While 'sidekick' Robin Quivers is the 'voice of reason/truth/brings everybody to earth'. LT is Robin Quivers:lol:

    +1

I've always liked Cotch, but after that Cincy playoff game I've grown to love him and consider him one of my favorite players.

And he always says the right s***...

we got some outrageous characters on this team, and two well spoken 'class act/role model' guys like Cotchery, and Tomlinson.

Cromartie should bunk with Cotchery in Cortland, and Holmes with LT. heh.

I think he will still be one of Sanchez's main targets, I don't think his stats will suffer that much, especially if on some plays he plays in the slot, I can't wait for the ideas Shotty comes up with with these 3 killer WRs, and Keller

Cotch is one guy that i would want to see retire a Jet. I just love this guy.
I met him at a signing at the Freehold Mall and he couldn't have been nicer.

I made a good choice grabbing a #89 Jersey in the beginning of thee 2009 season.

    No.

Cromartie should shadow Revis for 2 reasons - to learn how he goes about his craft, and to be with a drafted or long time, well respected Jet.

    Holmes with Cotch.

He's a class act who's going to catch a lot more balls in the slot than he probably would outside. Is anyone else as excited as I am to see this guy, with his strength and skills, matched up against nickelbacks?

He's an ideal #2, possession style receiver. Don't be surprised if you don't see him in the slot much. I'm guessing he and Holmes rotate in 2 WR sets based on down and distance, and that in 3 WR sets, Holmes may actually see the action inside. Again, however, we'll likely see different sets.

He is praying it is complete but with the real possibility that the Jets can't or won't keep both Edwards and Holmes after this year it is anything but complete. They might still draft another WR in the 1st or 2nd round. Or at the least pick one up later in the summer.

for 2010 the starters are complete and that's all that matters right now.

Holmes was the number 1 reciever I'm Pittsburgh ? I think cotch will be elsewhere after this season.. As much as I love the guy.. Edwards holmes is a much scarier tandem then Edwards cotch or holmes cotch.. That's just how I see it..

Who's going to be the #3 guy during the first four games of the season?

Holmes will definitely be moved around, but I think he's probably going to see action outside, for the most part. The guy is the best receiver on the team, and I think they're going to take advantage of the advantages his speed creates by putting him outside for the most part. Either way Cotchery is going to be seeing inferior players, and that's a great thing.

I love Cotchery. The guy is so good at what he does and handles himself with great class.
