This deal IS NOT DEAD. Mike T has said that we are now 'waiting'.

Someone on another board just posted a thread saying Taylor signed a 2yr/3.45mil contract as reported by SNY - can anyone confirm?

Was gonna say hes supposed to meet with management @ Miami this week. Why would someone sign a contract when they know theyre about to get another offer.

Funny thing is, Schefter was late to the game on the Holmes trade. La Canfora owned his ass there.

    Neil Rackers...

EDIT: Okay, that's a stretch. He knew we could only offer Feely money.

That kid is such an idiot. They were replaying a JetsNation episode on SNY that was shot last week when Taylor was still in NY.

Good. Now he can end his career dancing and frolicking in the wind knowing he never had a super bowl ring. :finssuck:

Good cause if he did sign, We'd be drafting Taylor Mays and half this board would jump off their roof and hope it was high enough to end the misery

I want more than anybody for my team to win, but I also would like to mantain a sense of pride while doing so. Jason Taylor would wound my pride. Many will disagree with me, we've had this discussion before. Im one of a very few obscure people who weigh the character of a team just about equally with the talent of a team. (for ex, 99ish era knicks had the perfect perfect balance of character and talent) Point being, FUCK Jason Taylor.

Taylor isn't nearly as good as he was years ago. my boss is a Redskins fan and he said he flat out sucked. I didn't watch the skins at all, but i can't imagine the crybaby's game getting better as time goes on. F him, i'd rather have gladys than this ahole.

As much as I hate JT I'll take him now over gladys anyday. VD, I mean VG, is gone after this season unless he comes through with 17 sacks and 94 tackles with 26 TFL and 4 FF.

The Jets signing Taylor would go against my hopes of seeing Jason Taylor crying for the rest of his life over the fact that he never won a Super Bowl every time he hears about the team he hated the most in the league winning it.
