    Wow...what a deal!

    Since BE can't catch the long ball, he should be the one to have the short yardage/over the middle TE-type role, with Holmes as the big-play guy and J-Co the possession guy.

    idk about that, Holmes can practice in training camp and play in the preseason..hopefully they develop enough of a chemistry that his return to the lineup would be seamless after 4 games (or that he doesn't get suspended at all)

    Holy shit! I just walked in the door, checked espn.com, saw the title of the Jets getting Holmes for a 5th rounder, and I chocked on the food I was eating. Mike Tennenbaum almost killed me.

    This is fucking incredible I wish I had a beer to celebrate this is just too awesome.

    EDIT: A celebratory joint is much more appropriate

    I was one of the pro Marshall guys but I must say Holmes isn't better but I like bringing him abroad much more then Marshall. What an off season we are having, probably the most talented Jets team ever assembled. Hopefully it leads us to a Super Bowl.

    Sounds like Tanny and Rex are setting themselves up for another 2 pick draft (i.e., trade up to get himself up "their" guy) cause there aren't too many holes left to fill.
