Well that seems to make everything seem premature at this point. No wonder we haven't heard much from Mr. Schefter.

I'm seeing a lot of similarities between all the rumors surrounding LT's decision and what's going on here. He'll be a Jet.

same here but, there wasn't ever a falling out with the Jets, and LT. This is going up, and down. Not a good sign. I'd like to have JT play 25snaps a game, and just rush the QB.

i dont expect him to stuff the run i am simply saying he is very far from a complete player and that there are plenty of guys that can do what he does as well as he does it.

the run stuffing comment was for mr electric.

    they had 2.

thats my point darnell dockett is a DEFENSIVE TACKLE and still had more sacks than your sack specialist. you make him out to be lawrence taylor, actually no you make him out to be derrick thomas like he is going to have 7 sacks in a game. go ahead and google him...

thats not going to happen and he really isnt worth the annoyance to bring in.

not for nothing .... but Jason Taylor is not what the jets need .... he is way past his best years and his last few years have been less and less productive ... Jets would have been better off competing with the Saints for Alex Brown ....

That's the point of a rotation. Thomas plays on running downs and Taylor would play on passing downs. Even if we draft someone to play OLB, it's going to take time to develop him and he'd have two players to learn from.

I've been against bringing Taylor in but I haven't been delusional about our options.

He and his agent are trying to keep him in Miami but he'll be a Jet.

    That's all this is.

Can't stand the guy but when he sacks Brady a bunch of times and helps us go to the big game, I will be glad to have him.

At least he can't bring his butt buddy Zach along with him.

    Go JETS!!!!!!

25 downs a game, and with some high pressures on the QB and a sack here and there. OMG! I want a SB WIN! And if our team with zero cap space adds thus guy to fill a Part Time position, WHO the HELL cares about his past??? Let him prove himself on the damn field!n If REX and Tanny thinks he can still contribute, then so be it! Damn, he will be playing Against Brady and Henne! For the love of God, stop hating based on the damn past, and start looking at how our cap space hampers alot this year.
