It's totally different there now with Schwartz and Mayhew running the show. They've brought in some good players and had a great draft last year which they very easily could duplicate this year.

He'll be as loved as AJ Feely.

To me, this looks like a pretty good return for an aging QB with a big contract who is one year from free agency and has a [former] backup who they must feel is ready to start.

The intra-division thing is weird, but otherwise I kinda like it for Philadelphia.

This move changes the whole complextion of the draft. Call it "the domino theory" What does this mean for the Jets?.........players whom we thought would not be there will be ours. We will be saying,"wow how did so and so drop in our laps?" This is a great signing that will be great for us.

Tough division though. That's why they won't go places.

    They are likable though.

It moves QBs down and moves up Tackles... luckily the Jets need neither in the 1st round.

Perhaps someone drops, maybe someone moves up to get someone else. We won't know for another 19 days.

Seeing that QB will move down and tackles move up what does that mean overall? There probable will be a run on tackles which will move down other positions. They say Cambell will probably move also to a team that needs a QB. Teams that need a QB have one available. Teams also will move QBs off the roster. This will probably in my mind a OL draft in the 1st round.

Eagles threw the best QB in their history under the bus, after all he has been through with them. Shows you how classless and tasteless that they are!

Surprised to see so much love for the Skins in this trade. As of right now, McNabb is the ENTIRE offense. They have zero O-lineman, three rickety running backs, Santana Moss, and 2 H-backs. I suppose you could say they have some weapons with Moss, Cooley, and Fred Davis, but their O Line is seriously bad. Combine that with their vaunted D switching schemes and I think you have a 6 win team at best.

And they have to sign him to a long-term deal to avoid giving up a 2nd and 3rd round picks for a one-year rental on a crap team.

And they need to start developing a QB now anyway because McNabb is already old.

Those fans are awful for any sport. It's surprising that they have so much faith in Kolb so close to being a contending team.

    That whole city is racist.

Pretty stupid to trade a good QB to one of your division rivals.

It worked for the Patriots. They ended up with Ty Warren that season after trading Bledsoe.

Bledsoe was old and done. And they had a proven QB to take his place.

Kolb isn't proven, and McNabb sure as hell isn't done yet.

That was the Eagles 2 years ago, just get a OL with the 1st pick and they are instantly much better

This trade bothers me for one sole reason. The chance that the Bills get their "franchise QB" in Jimmy Clausen is now likely.

One of Bledsoe's best years came in his first year with the Bills and I'm pretty sure nobody thought he was done any more than people question Mcnabb's longevity at this point. He started another 5 years or something for the Bills/Cowboys? Their ages are similar for the time of the trade.

However it's true that Brady was proven that first year. Kolb's just got a few good performances against questionable defenses under his belt and that's it.
