Trade bait. They might try to use him to move back into the 5th round.

I've always liked Campbell too. Dude's been thrown around his entire career.

How many OCs has he had to work under? Not the way to develop a QB. Especially when you are trying to force him into a West Coast system.

Me too, I've always liked Campbell and thought he could have been a pretty solid QB if put in the right system.

I still think he can be..

Throw the other teams off of their track a little? I really don't see Bradford making it to #4 and I really don't see the Redskins having the picks to trade up.

well at least he didn't get traded to the raiders. eagles fans piss me off so much, they had one of the best qb's in the league for the past ten years and never appreciated what he did for the franchise.

Is there a " Should the Jets trade for Campbell?" Thread yet? Although compared to Clemens, I would feel a lot better about our backup job. I wouldn't have a problem giving a late pick for Campbell.

I have a feeling Philly is really going to regret this trade.

Campbell got better every year he played and had his best year last year.

The dude will still have a career.... somewhere.

i fucking hope so. the eagles and their fans deserve to have this blow up right in their face. only in philly can a player play at the level mcnabb has for the past decade and get no respect from anyone.

The Jets would have traded a 1st round pick for McNabb a few years ago. The Eagles were in a tough spot this year because McNabb is in the last year of his contract and everybody knew he would hit free agency after 2010. I remember the Eagles were asking for 3 first round picks for McNabb in 2007/2008. Of course, that was ridiculous and nobody would pay that. But if JAbe got traded for a first in 2006, so could McNabb.

I still think he is/can be a good QB... It's not like he had much of a team in Washington..

I wouldn't be surprised if he got traded before the draft to a team like Carolina or Buffalo

Great trade for the Eagles. Mcnabb will only get more injury prone as he gets older and he's never going to win a superbowl. Getting a high second round pick this year is great value. Should get a first round talent for 2nd round money.

They were ready to move on to Kolb anyway.

The Redskins have so many holes that trading for a 33 year old qb is just a horrible decision. Mcnabb is going to get killed by the eagles, giants and cowboys pass rush.

I envision Mcnabb injured by week 6 and Jason Campbell back at qb.

you don't make this move for one year. This isn't Favre.

McNabb will be a Redskin for the rest of his career.
