Update concerning UFA movement between Final 4 teams, confirms what we had previously thought, I believe:

Ah ha ha! Are you serious? This is a sticky?! I've been researching the net and wasting company time. Where's my sign?

Well, looks like I was wrong about there being no deadline for the Final 8 Plan restrictions:

^ I'm trying to find confirmation for that, but if that guy is truly on to something, and the NFL really did confirm that, I'm sure there would be a few possibilities on July 22.

EDIT: Found it. I had questions about the "June 1" tender before, but just assumed it applied to RFAs only. It applies to UFAs too, though.

From the section on Player Salaries:

    And then from the F8P:

In other words, if a team tenders a UFA who was under contract to them last season by June 1st, they get exclusive rights to him starting with the start of training camp. If not, that player then becomes free to us. So, a lot of the older UFAs who may hold out in the hopes of avoiding part of camp could actually be available to us.

Seems despite the limitations, the Jets have had no problem bringing in star players.

    These limitations are so ridiculous.

Howard Green has signed with the Redskins, so that should allow us to sign someone else, presumably somewhere near the vet minimum.
