I don't think the hate is that overwhelming, too be honest. A lot of people dislike Rex and his defense because they talk a lot but they are the #1 defense in the league. Outside of the division who specifically hates this team? Chargers and Bengals come to mind. They're just jealous. I know a lot of Saints fans that like the Jets. I know Sanchez has a lot of followers who like the Jets now because of him. Revis is well respected across the league, too. You can't argue with numbers and so far they have backed up the talk. Anyone who calls the Jets overrated does not know this team very well and is just talking out of his ass.
ESPN has always hated the Jets and loved the Pats to death. It's no surprise they released this article.
Exactly. ESPN is located in Connecticut. The patriot part of Connecticut. They hate NY and this is what they do. I think most fans are going to love the Jets when they see how hilarious they are on Hard Knocks. Aside from Rex saying he's going to be your team with ease, he's beyond easy to love. He's going to be like Jeff Fisher... you can't hate Jeff Fisher. If you do, you're a bad person.
The only thing in that article that is insulting to the Jets is the fan quotes at the top. The rest of it is actually kind of complimentary.
