Revis fucking christ. Turk, in 08 I remember you being one of the few not being a chicken with its head cut off until the collapse happened, and since then you've been downhill and getting worse with each post. You have to understand that this reaction is from the fact that during the season, you'd give up on the team after the first 2 posessions of the game, and cower in a corner. And then when people called you out on it, you would attack them for it. You'd start dumb threads in this forum that were just stupid and juvenile. If you wanna leave, whatever dude... I suggest you go back into your post history and find who you used to be. You were a good poster. Win the Comeback Poster award this year. just grow a pair.
Yeah I flipped last season at one point I admit it...but to be berated for a thread like this is the last straw for me... Maybe I did have a streak of stupidity...not maybe...definitely...but since then I have made a real effort for that not to be the case... It's becoming almost impossible to redeem myself and it's been a fun ride here but apparently the ride is over... And to be honest me being fed up isn't all to do with just me. I've seen the same group of posters jump on countless others...they can say my threads suck or whatnot...but them constantly bashing others is what really makes this board unreadable.. No...not at all... This board used to be very different...it used to actually be a great place to post where everyone was friendly...back in the day sir..you would have been banned long ago.. people dish out shit way to much here now and I refuse to be a part of it. when I say delete my account I very much mean it
It's NEVER impossible to redeem yourself. Ask firemanedjr and BigBlocker. This thread just came on the heels of a long debate on the same issue. A little ribbing is in order for all long term posters over things like this. I only see one person who went into a huge battle with you, and that's his nature. He's a vital part of the board in part for that.
and thats all well and good... but this board has transformed into something that it used to not be...and it's just not a friendly community of JETS fans...its a bunch of people who would much rather knock someone down then actually have a discussion
I disagree with that notion. I think it's both, and in the former regard it's still the best board on the net. There are certainly people who love a good fight, but it rarely gets in the way of the solid debates and discussions. Those threads tend to be clean.

TGG breakdowns are priceless. FTR, Turk, the good old days weren't always good and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems. I wrote that. Myself.
TJ actually eliminated his stopping in the hole and hopping to change directions, awful habits that drove me crazy. His primary value was that he was averse to fumbling and very durable, but you could attribute the durability to his not being able to break tackles--he usually dropped like a stone first hit. Also, this year he wore down at the end and actually had an injury. It was time to go, no argument. Question is, was LDT a wise idea?
