Jets are interested in Cromartie?

If we trade rhodes for a 3rd, pick up rolle and trade the 3rd for cromartie you really cant complain about that.

I mean Rhodes for Cro + Rolle is a complete steal.

 

Not that it matters in the end, but I haven't heard any Rolle rumors involving us.

 

No, he was burned by #2 and #3 receivers. Quentin Jammer is the Chargers' #1 cornerback.

Also, Cromartie split time at nickel in 2009 because Antoine Cason was a better option than he was in coverage.

Kerry Rhodes is an overrated, overpaid joke. Getting ANYTHING for him is worth it. Dumping his salary on another team would be a huge move.

I just want you guys to realize that this upcoming safety draft class could be one of the best classes at the position EVER. Ryan will be able to pick and choose out of a handful of extremely talented defensive backs.

The Jets should only bring in role players through free agency. Adalius Thomas could be a hell of a pick up as a rotational OLB.

Not spending a lot of money through free agency will allow this team to keep players like Mangold, Revis, Ferguson, and Edwards here.

 

He'll probably get something close to it. An uncapped year plus an incredibly weak free agency pool = big money for players that don't necessarily deserve it.

I still think theyd hafta throw in a pick there, maybe a 4th. Essentially Cro was a 3rd CB on the Chargers and with there deperation to rid of him Rhodes straight up, IMO, would be overpaying.

 

I truly think we could get a better corner for us in the 3rd round.

Richard Marshall is a big part of the Panthers' very, very good pass defense. He's also one of the better run support corners in the league.
