Holy Shit, the grammar...it's...no, it can't be...but, there's no other explanation... RaiderJeaux is back! Look at "Carr?", the question mark is nowhere near the "r" on the keyboard!
I put a question mark there b/c I forget if Carr was the name of the CB on the falcons. And yes we got torched by the New England defense.
He had an up and down season as many rookies do. In 4 of his 15 games he threw a combined 15 of those 20 INT's. So in less than 25% of his games he threw 75% of those INT's. When he played bad, he played terrible. He struggled with consistency in his rookie year, again, to be expected especially when he was a junior with only 16 college starts. He stepped up in the playoffs big time, which for any Jets fan should be very encouraging. Why a Jets fan would focus on the 4 really shitty regular season starts in his rookie year instead of his outstanding (best rookie QB ever) playoff performance is beyond me.
Rex Grossman was up and down too and look what happened to him. You have a valid point with the 15 out of 20 interception thing. But you are acting like he played great in the games he didn't play terribly. But in reality he simply played average in those games so....
Houston, Miami 1, Miami 2, Oakland, Buffalo 2, Panthers. All pretty great performances from Sanchez. Not to mention San Diego and Indy 2.
That doesn't mean he should be crowned as an elite, stud QB yet either. He has yet to orchestrate a game winning drive, win a shootout, or throw effectively without play action. When we can throw him out there and know we have a chance to beat anyone a long as he is on the field, then we can act like he is the real deal. He hasn't really shown that yet.
Im very high on Sanchez now because of the playoffs but it is interesting to think how I and everyone else would feel about him if the tie breakers fell a different way and we didnt make the playoffs. That being said we did make the playoffs and Sanchez has shown he can be great and a big game QB. Many QB's cant perform in the playoffs, like tony romo no homo.
