The thing that's great about this series is that Walter's prognosis goes back and forth. When the creative juices run out for the show, Walter can die without any other explanation. It's a brilliant 'built in'. I loved when Walter coughed up blood and looked at his palm like it was the stigmata. He'll never ask that cult figure for anything, and good for him. Haha, the best was when Walter was building a battery, and he's waving the "answer" in Jesse's face. "Wire!" "No, copper." Dry to the end. The beat down on the paper towel dispenser when he learns that he's in remission, c'mon. It was so random and angry. How great was that? Bryan Cranston, who knew?
Holy crap that episode was awesome. I can't wait for more. This is definately one of the best shows on tv right now...
This past Sunday's episode was great, too. Cranston does a great seething angry, but it's so understated. I loved the way Walter said to those two guys in the parking lot who were trying to move in on his drug operation: "Stay out of my territory." A death stare. No weapon. Nothing. Especially to the big dude, who backs down. Awesome. EDIT: I wonder what's going to happen with that office attraction with his wife? Interesting turn.
Really? I thought Sunday was the last episode of the year. I missed what happened just the same. So what happened?
Alright I just caught the last episode of this show. First one I'd ever saw, I was captivated isntantly when he was ransacking the house looking for the drugs.
What, haha, c'mon. Proves how much I 'follow' things even when I make valiant attempts to try. Last I saw, it was getting wrapped up. So what happened at the office after the coffee cup? I seriously will NOT look it up. God love me.
Damn, I so bad wanted this thread to be about the long awaited follow up to Breakin 2.. Electric Bugaloo.
Anybody Watching this regularly? How awesome is this show? (Rhetorical as I think it the best show on tv right now)
New season March 21st. Woo-hoo! Best show ever. For those in the know, Walter's wife is played by the same actress who played Seth Bullock's wife in 'Deadwood'. Anna Gunn, haha, pretty funny. The acting and writing in this show is freaking unparalleled in comparison to other shows on the air these days. Can't wait (rubs hands together). 'Lost', are you guys crazy or what.
Never watched the show, but it appears the guy is dying of some disease? Does he ever die, or does the show go on forever?
Scroll back a page. He's a HS chemistry teacher dying of lung cancer, and the story-line is that you never know which way it's gonna go. He decides to hook up with HS drop-out Jesse to cook meth to take care of his family, and leads this crazy double life. As a hilarious side-note, his son, Walter, Jr. starts a website to raise money for his illness. http://www.savewalterwhite.com/ Too much. Walter looked like he wanted to off himself when he was on the local news because of it in the show.
