WR to LB to TE, yea, he's going to be raw.

What I like about him is his receiver experience. Dickerson has the ability to line up and be an effective receiver at tight end, h-back, fullback, and in the slot. I just don't know if the Jets will go after him because we already have Dustin Keller on the roster.

That's why I like Byham as a compliment. He filled the same roll in Pitt as a blocking/H-Back player while someone else catches everything. Byham is a better fit in this offense unless the Jets decide to trade away Keller. Two receiving TEs with questionable blocking ability is not really the best recipe right now.

Fresno's Lonyae Miller and Auburn's Ben Tate just tied for the most bench reps by the running backs with 26 reps of 225 pounds.

Dexter McCluster had 20 reps, which is very impressive for a guy his size.

Where are you getting this? I thought the RBs weren't going out until tomorrow.

NFL.com has a combine tracker. The RBs, QBs, and WRs are participating in the bench press right now.

    The other drills start tomorrow.

Dude's a beast. I hope he runs in the 4.4s - that'd be a huge slap in the face to all the scouts that don't think he can play running back.

Jaime Dukes comparing Dorin Dickerson to Shannon Sharpe...a little crazy.

Pitta looked real good in catching drills. Looks very natural catching the ball.

They have similar size and athleticism, but it's a disrespectful comment. Sharpe is one of the best receiving tight ends ever.

Pitta's a good player. I think he'll have immediate success if he ends up on a team with a veteran quarterback. If the Bengals pass on Gresham in the first, I could see them going after a tight end like Pitta in the second.

Aaron Hernandez had a very disappointing combine. I think Dennis Pitta may have moved ahead of him today.

Wisconsin's Garrett Graham looked very good today too.

Did Hernandez even participate in any of the drills?

No, but he did participate in the weigh in and the measurements...he was just over 6'2.

Supposedly he had a strained back.

Terrence Cody weighed in at 354, which could move him back into the mid-late first round discussion. Wouldn't be suprised if Arizona or San Diego take him with their first round picks, but he has to keep losing the weight. I wouldn't mind the Jets looking at him if the corners are off the board.

I can see San Diego taking him. I've heard from a couple of friends that are Bolt fans that they might release former stud NT Jamal Williams.

I think Dan Williams is going to be the pick for the Chargers, I thought for a while that it would be Cody as well but the Steelers resigned Casey Hampton which was the only team I could see standing between the Chargers and Williams

I could see a team like Kansas City trying to trade out of the top five with San Francisco.

I know they are resigning Casey Hampton, but the Steelers could be looking for a new NT if they cannot find value at their position for an OLine.
