If this is possible, I would love to see Another Thomas on the D, and have a great year with us.
Of course BB will do everything possible for AT to NOT land with the Jets.

Does this fall under the same cut rules, meaning if they are cut the Jets can sign them? If so, I say go for it.

belichick will trade him for a 7th before he lets him come to the jets.

ok maybe not. if rex thinks he can turn him back into the guy he was with the ravens, or even close to it i would be on board.

I brought this up a couple months ago....and i still think AT would be a good fit for a reasonable price.

If he gets cut he will be a Jet. I have no doubt.

I'd say the only thing standing in the way is price. And man, I know there has been talk of lack of slacking or whatever, but he's a chance I'd love to take.

Thomas is one of those versatile players that Rex can move around in his alignments...like a pawn on a chessboard. I remember in Baltimore, Rex dropped him into coverage, he played the Dline, used him as a pass rusher and as an ILB.....he may have lost a step, but if he's motivated and is in shape....could be a nice addition. Even if it's just a depth signing.

Most definitely. Any released players are fair game for us, and I'd love to see us attempt to get Thomas.

    whoa there, Gus.

I don't think Adalius is vital to this defense enough...that Rex would have to make a Bart Scott housecall.

the pats will def try to drag this out .. hopefully he holds out and creates enough of a distraction that they have to cut him earlier than they want to

  13. Adalius Thomas? What is he now, 67 years-old? (Actually 32.) Let's bring in the remains of Otto Graham as backup to Sanchez, too.

Release Ghost, sign Thomas. That improves our depth at OLB tremendously.

  15. If signing him means we jettison "Bust Boy" Gholston, I will personally pickup Thomas and drive him to Florham Park. I'll even spring for lunch.
