One of the best MLBs in the game. The ex-Jet Captain and Captain of the Champion New Orleans Saints deserves our congratulations.

Good for Vilma, and good for Jonathan Goodwin, even though he didn't do much when he was here.

EDIT: Thank you Mods for the title correction.

I wore my Vilma jersey thinking it may be the last time I do. Good for him. Class act. Congrats to the Saints!

I would have worn my Vilma jersey today if it wasn't 180 miles away.

    I still think he's overrated.

Congrats to Vilma and Jonathan Goodwin, people forget about him. Vilma played great yesterday and I'm glad things have worked out for him.

Goodwin had a great season, a Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl, my sons and I met him at Hofstra quite a few times, he's a good kid...

I wonder if champ is still trying to make the case he was a bad pick. I still think we should have kept him.

    VIlma

Vilma was an absolute beast against the colts. true david harris is one of the best mlb in the league but it still feels lke we got nothing out of losing such a great player.

Ask Mangina why he couldn't change his system to include Vilma's abilities instead of releasing a good player cause he didn't fit the system.

As per Rex Ryan, he wished Vilma was still here.

I still think Vilma is soft.

He needs the defense to funnel thing his way, I'd rather have Harris IMO.

I'm happy for Vilma but, his injury status here helped pave his exit and he just didn't fit in with what we had going on.. Yeah, we should have gotten more - That injury screwed us - Saints were taking the injury risk.

I like Harris more also but Vilma would have fit in here somehow under Rex and played great I'm sure.
