I remember watching the Sunday night game and Collinsworth was like "Brett Favre rents his house in Minnesota, I wonder who rents his house here" and I said "durrr maybe he lives in it??"

As long as he is no longer a checkdown option, then hell yeah.

I think it's time for T-Rich to move on. Great leader but old legs.

For as much as I love T-Rich as a leader and for what he has done in the past... are you guys sure he's still blowing up defenders? I don't remember any particular time this season in which I said "Wow look at that block from the FB".

Of course as far as understanding opposing Ds he's elite with all the experience he has... but physically are you guys all so sure he hasn't lost a step?

I'm not saying I don't want him around anymore... just that it might be a good idea to bring in some guys to take a look at... like I'm sure we will since Tanny always does his due diligence.

Richardson is still serviceable and does his job consistently. He better be on Jones', Greene's, and Washington's xmas card list......everytime these guys rush for a 100 yards, they should include T-Rich when they're buying the oline their steak dinners.

Until I see a noticeable decline in his play.....I want this guy on our roster.

I wouldnt mind the jets drafting a fullback in the later rounds, after all we are a run first team, and yes, we keep richardson to mentor the young rookie. Have him teach him how to lay the wood

We def bring Richardson back. Guy has had a great career and he has been great with us these past couple of years.

If he leaves, he plays great on another team.

    We keep him.

If the Jets hold on to Jason Davis, I really think he can be that type player.

Someone brought him up in the draft forum, so I did a little bit of research on this kid - I remembered him as an over-sized running back that didn't really have a defined role at Illinois. He was stuck behind Pierre Thomas and Rashard Mendenhall.

After looking up Illinois' statistics from 2004 and 2005, Davis was actually fairly productive as a receiver in 2004. In 2004, Davis caught 41 passes, which was the second highest total on the team.

Ron Turner was the head coach in 2004, and he ran a pro-style offense. When Ron Zook took over in 2005, Davis' production declined.

When Davis went undrafted, and signed with the Eagles. However, Ron Turner's Bears claimed him off of waivers shortly after that.

It's obvious that Jason Davis has the ability to be a very good check down option, but he just needs time to develop as a blocker. Hopefully his time spent with Tony Richardson will improve his all-around game.

Why not bring him back? His run blocking is superb, well respected and seems to be a classy figure.. all pros in my book, keep him

This should put to rest this talk about drafting a fullback in the later rounds. we have our future fullback on the roster. With that said, T-Rich was the lead blocker on the #1 rushing team in the NFL. If he wants back, we want him back.
