The playoff run should really help Sanchez next season. In essence, it was almost like his 2nd season. Nice find on the stats.
When he was struggling I did question his coaching. And then I questioned his coachability. Whether he was being asked to do too much or the game slowed down for him, or a combination of both, I'm glad to say my fears seem to be unfounded.
THATS MY QUARTERBACK friends All i hope is that he is healthy and plays a long lasting career. He should be elite then and *crosses fingers* win a couple of super bowls
Thats the thing, he did not look like a rookie to me at all during the playoffs. I have seen veteran, who had that "deer in the headlights" stare during the playoffs. I did not see that in Sanchez. When we were in the last moments of the last game knowing we lost, I saw Sanchez with his head held high. He took in ever moment, the smell of defeat. He is going to be an "elite" QB in the NFL period. We should enjoy the ride for at least 10 years, Sanchez is going to bring it! And when I say elite I mean elite like Elway, Montana,Payton and Marino elite.......just kick back and enjoy the ride............................................................
We should have also traded Davis Harris and a 2nd for a receiver, Harris is clearly an easily replaceable 2 down linebacker.
His game improved so much in the last few weeks. When Greene went down and the Colts had momentum I would have liked to see more faith in Sanchez with more passing plays. He made some great throws last Sunday.

The kid is clearly a big stage QB. He gets that 1000 yard stare and just goes to work. This one is special....I agree, and I saw quite a few of those QBs you mentioned when they were his age. Would not be suprised at all if after all is said and done, 10 years from now, the name Sanchez joins that sentence. Yea, I know, I'm an old fucker.....
http://profootballfocus.com/by_posi...e=r&runpass=&teamid=-1&numsnaps=25&numgames=1 according to those stats, kerry rhodes was the second best safety in the league this year ... take those with a grain of salt
hahah I replied to that in another thread with http://profootballfocus.com/by_posi...e=p&runpass=&teamid=-1&numsnaps=25&numgames=1
