Dude, you really think Eli cares that much about the Jets? Peyton had to freaking quiz him on SEC teams before he went off to Ole Miss. Eli cares about what he has to do on the football field and probably doesn't spend any additional energy worrying about things that are ultimately trivial to him as a player. And who the f*ck would root against their brother?!? I don't care if my brother played football for the shitbag Eagles, I would root for him all the same.
Strange media hype...remember during SB42 when the cameras just HAD to find Peyton's reaction to Eli almost getting his jersey torn off, before he threw the super glue helmet trauma/drama???!!! They found Peyton in a dark corner, standing in a box, cheering on his brother. Eli & Peyton are going to support each other NO MATTER WHAT.
And the pinnacle of dumb, the dumb criticisms of the dumb replies to the dumb threads! It is a veritable HURRICANE OF STUPIDITY! FORGET EL NINO! VIVA EL STUPIDO!
Fine...so long as he now knows that he only has the support of GIANT fans who root for him. Pro-NY sports fans like me who rooted for Eli and the Giants during their Super Bowl run are now going to boo the SOB at any public events. If Eli wanted to root for Peyton, he should have done so QUIETLY. PM has already won a SB so there was no reason for Eli to be so demonstrative against the Jets. Kudos to Giants like Sean O'Hara for pulling for the NYJ.
Hey it's all fun, I know. I did bring this subject up in another thread, just didn't think it deserved much more than a mention. Here it is- Aw c'mon...Eli's a douche? Really? I think he's a pretty nice guy...but what do I know. He did win a SB for NY. Still the best SB I've ever seen. Did you happen to see him at the game rooting for his big brother? Maybe he lost a few more NY fans. But you gave it the full treatment with a poll! I'm way too lazy for that.
Well stated. Eli does support New York. Eli and Abby gave $1 million to build a mom/baby center at some New York hospital, and said that Jets fans are more than welcome there, as well. I read it in the press, so it must be true....LOL
He was rooting for his brother, there was an article in one of the papers last week that many Giants players were pulling for the Jets since it benefits NY
Eli is just upset he is no longer NYs premier QB. And hes also upset that he knows his team is probably never going to see another sbowl
I'm pretty sure Eli likes the spotlight being aimed at someone else. You'll never see him in a bathing suit.
Wow, no offense Cman but this thread is very silly . . . He was rooting for his brother!!! Would you even consider rooting against your own flesh and blood in one of the biggest games of his professional career??? Come on, dude.
haha how is this possibly a thread. Would you root against your brother in the game to get into the superbowl. Seriously wtf haha.
so by this logic archie will root for new orleans to win, family first always and you know that this is how these guys were raised.
If your brothers are blood sucking assholes like mine you would, but I get the feeling that Eli and Peyton get along. He was cheering for his brother, what else would you expect?
