all he had to do was run straight ahead until he got hit and attempt a FG. Once again Farve ends a season in a NFC Champ game with an INT that destroys his team. The last thing I wanted to hear was Farve talk in the SB for the next two weeks.
I'd like him to return for next year (after some team-rending will he/won't he drama). I'm sure it'll be a far less magical run. The honeymoon with the Minny fans is over, and we get him at home.
Even if he retires, no one will believe it until he doesn't show up on the field for week 1 or is dead.
it couldnt have ended more perfectly for the drama queen. the guy won one superbowl and did it 14 years ago. he has been a locker room killer, he has been an interception machine. he has thrown his coach under the bus and taken control of 3 franchises in the last 3 years. the packers really at this point look smart for getting rid of his ass. i was sick to death to watch this guy running off the field talking to people instead of the winning team celebrating. i really dont get the hero status this guy has received. WHO exactly cares about him? i really dont know. but every single broadcaster and network gets on its knees for him every year.
It's kind of scary how predictable it was that Favre would end his night by running to his right before trying to throw to his left, to the only receiver who wasn't open, all while his fucking team was already in field goal range. Brett Favre is Charlie Brown.
hehe the only difference is i have never seen charlie brown fellated on sportscenter. favre were on the 1 millionth fellate.
That is a perfect summary of Brett's career. Good QB, no doubt with all kinds of records, which come with playing 19 years in the league. Along with all the good records are the interception records as well.
I read on ESPN that the last pass of Favre's career with all 3 of the teams he's played for (Packers, Jets, Vikings) has been an interception.
Still can't believe that the Vikings had this one and Farve gave it away on his own, yet still everyone on this thread expected it
