We lost this game because of injuries and Bad calls from officials. Yes, Colts is a good team and Peyton Manning is great, but JETS is great too.
Yeah Peyton had a lot to do with the 32nd ranked rushing offense out gaining the 1st ranked rushing offense.
You guys got some bogus calls against you, but at the same time there is no way the NFL wants a small market team in the SB over an NYC team. Just no way. I don't care if it's Peyton or not.
It is what it is. I could easily see a team like the Indianapolis Colts getting too caught up in the heat of the moment with trash talking because that's not their style, so it makes sense for Peyton Manning to be pleased that his team kept within themselves.
Yeah, he should totally root against his brother to make a knuckle-dragger like you happy. Seriously, did you even think at all before posting that? And that comment about Eli not having to worry about making it to a Super Bowl for the remainder of his career is pretty retarded. The Giants have talent and, even though they may not be your Jets (whom are apparently more important than family) are in better shape than most in terms of making future Super Bowl runs. They are actually better off than the Jets in several areas. But I digress. You're a silly man.
Manning Is A Jerk If you are going to talk smack, do it BEFORE the game, not after you've won. This guy sure didn't talk smack after we wallopped his team 41-0 in 2002...and he didn't talk smack when his high-seeded Colts kept flopping in the playoffs every year. Let's face it: if Chicago has any QB other than Rex Gross-out, he still wouldn't have a SB win.
It's not sour grapes.....the guy is a whiney crybaby, look at this post-game press conferences when they've lost playoff games. Taking shots at Rey Ryan and all the pre-game talk.....if he wanted to comment on it, he had 6 days to do it. Instead, gutless wimp that he is, he does it after the game. Typical QB in a skirt.
We talk BEFORE and AFTER the games. Manning says nothing all week and then get chatty after the game. I hope the guy gets pounded by the Saints in the SB. Let's see how he does in a SB when the opposing QB isn't Rex Grossman.
there were actually a couple of plays Coleman gave up that I felt Strickland would of stopped and they were key plays
