To most Pats fans, the bitterness in the Jets rivalry ended the day Mangini was fired. He really made it personal. Some Pats troll-types haven't gotten the message yet, but the war ended that day. Now you're no different that the Phins - a tough opponent we have to see twice a year (the Bills are kind of irrelevant). We'll all get our game faces on for those meetings, but in a case like this weekend we're pulling for you guys. The Jets are an intriguing story this year and easy to root for. Ryan's kind of likable in a weird way, and noone knows what Sanchez will do minute to minute. But they have a couple of assets nobody else has right now - a great D and running game. The only caveat is that I really believe the Saints are on another planet this year and are going to rout both the Vikings and the AFC winner. So play this one like it's your SB.
I wish we would cool it on the Pats bashing. It makes us seem like a loser fan base with a huge inferiority complex (like Red Sox fans who love to chant "Yankees Suck"). I'm just happy the Jets are in the AFC Championship game. I could give a shit about the Pats right now.

I'm not really even thinking about the Patriots or their fans this week. The Jets are the ones playing for the conference championship. I have spent too many years watching them win in the offseason to spend any time dwelling on them as the Jets try to make it to the Super Bowl. I'm going to enjoy this the right way, if it happens.

My brother lives in RI, and he hears all the nonsense you would expect to hear from Pats fans. It makes him hate them, and then he calls up and tells me all about it. I have to listen, because he's my brother, but life is better when you don't have to think about Pats fans.
People are asking if we can offically label Gholston a bust and Tebow is one of the greatest busts of all time, lololol. The guy isn't even in the NFL yet, he's already a bust? I'm not a Tebow fan, I could care less about the guy but the guy hasn't even been drafted yet, lol.
Here's this Pats fan's ideal scenario: Jets kick the Colt's ass and reveal Peyton to be the .500 playoff QB that he is. Jets fans get even cockier than they already are. They can smell the Lombardi. They ache for it. Then, the Saints kick the Jets ass. Jets fans again are disappointed beyond belief. So close, but no cigar. All they get for their trouble is the 31st draft pick. If there is a God, that is how it will play out.
Well at least we wouldn't of had to cheat to get there....It's pretty easy to win a game when you know exactly when the other team is blitzing and where they will be blitzing from...You guys got off easy, enjoy the memories..Brady and ur franchise are done. :gpc:

That's it, Jets-Colts!! To me, that's the only game this weekend!! Most rival fans I have run into are behind the Jets. The few that aren't, well come to find out most of those are dullfin fans. I hear the same lame comment, "well, we swept you guys this year!!" I just smile and say "and where did it get ya???"
