I just watched ESPN First Take and they had Nnamdi Asomugha on to go against Skip Bayless. Just watching he him speak about the match-up about the Jets vs Colts he is one of the only ones that I have heard speak out in public that the Jets can beat the Colts. This guy sounds like he knows what he is talking especially from the defensive side that is good to hear especially with all the talk that this game isn't even going to be close. He sounds like a class act. Also on that episode Drew Bennett also thought we could beat the Colts. On a side note they asked him who he felt is the best cornerback in the league and obviously he said himself but he said it was close. I would love to see this guy play opposite sides of the field with Revis that would get so ugly. So I just sat there and though imagine he didn't renew or extend his contract with the Raiders and he signed with the Jets. I know you guys would love it. Just alittle bit of something different.
That would be amazing if we had Revis and Asomugha, but since he only plays one side, would Revis have to play one side as well, most of the time?
Asomugha is pretty solid -- but I think he gets a lot of undue credit -- seeing how he is one of a handful of outstanding players on the Raiders.

having revis and asomugha on the same team would be rediculous. revis's 1 on 1 lockdown allows rex to do so much with blitz packages, imagine two of them, thats an extra blitzer every down. i wanted this so badly in the offseason and was pissed when he resigned. the jets #1 pass defense, something like 160 yards per game allowed, would be close to 120 with nnamadi as our #2 corner.

Its funny how its the defensive players that say the jets can win. Like i said before I love being the underdog because no one expects anything from them. Its would be sick to have both of them but since we don't, we need to concentrate on that his we took with drafting Gholston and replace him in the draft or free agency there are a few good prospects in free agency. Also I don't really like having Braylon on the Jets but we have what we have. Sure would love to get Dez Bryant.
