I said I would reserve judgement until after this game on the guy...

    Well the verdict is in.

Here's to Kerry Rhodes...he was absolutely huge for us today and made some real impact plays...

he also did a great job of holding his ground on many plays and even came up big on special teams.

Kerry Rhodes, you are officially out of the doghouse (at least in my eyes)

He made up for an awful 1st half, that onside kick recovery was the biggest play of his career.

i thought kerry had a great game as well. the only time i was annoyed was when he strip sacked rivers and instead of hopping on the ball, jumps up to celebrate

Have to admit, I haven't worn his jersey since Week 3, but he showed up today, even looked like the rhodes of old on that strip sack.
When the dude applies himself, he's a hell of a football player. When he applies himself.

kerry is also officially out of my dog house

the thing that turned jet fans off was when he was performing poorly yet proclaiming how great he was.

if you perform no one cares if you talk and right now kerry is backing it up

I'm unretiring my Rhodes jersey tomorrow. He is forgiven. Now if he'd only unblock me on Twitter...

He was burned once by Gates, but that strip sack was a thing of beauty. Why did we always use Ihedigbo for those when Rhodes has proven himself great at rushing the passer.

Ihedigbo has been sick in his limited role this year, he is like missile and hits like a truck.

Nope .. though he did show up on some plays today, but not enough.

    Why?

    1. He still waits for the ball carrier to come to him rather than come and meet them half way.(Sproles run, Gates Catch and etc.)
    2. Slow reaction in pass coverage especially in zone coverage (TD pass to #88)
    3. Great call on that blitz but what did he do after the hit? He goes and celebrate rather then going for the loose ball. After a half celebration, he checks real quick for the ball then continues to celebrate.

He did great today, just not enough to get him out of the Dog house.

He still avoids contact and tackles like a girl, but he made some plays that helped win us the game. If he can continue to make these plays that make up for his poor tackling, he is okay in my book. He does look really slow, though

His sack was a thing of beauty. I'll remember that play and the Shonn Greene TD, forever.

HA! I am also blocked on his twitter. I think it's hilarious how badly he takes criticism.

Still can't believe how easily he got caught on that fumble recovery that last game at the Meadowlands. That was bad.

Great game but hes still such a narcissist (and a weak tackler), he had to jump in on that revis interview on sny. Looked like he loved himself. That strip sack was a thing of beauty though I saw it coming a mile away.

Also, after the strip sack he started celebrating instead of fighting for the ball. I know he probably wouldn't have recovered it, but it made me go crazy at the time. Still had his best game since 07 though

Good second half. Atrocious first half.

That guy nearly shit his pants in the face of Darren Sproles at the end of the first half. Almost cost us 3 important points. The big sack/fumble could have been anyone. The onside recovery was enormous.

yea i saw that too, i felt kind of petty getting upset about it but it still just kind of epitomizes his style of play unfortunately.

Like someone said in the game thread..."almost the goat, ended up the hero." If that ball doesn't fall back into his hands on the onside kick we are all singing a different song.

The strip sack was awesome though, and his tackiling was better. on Sporiles long run right before half Kerry looked like he was going shit himself, just standing there on his heels trying not to make too much contact.
