He has blocked many LB's coming on a blitz. He gets low and they get their legs cut but he has hung in there y just blocking them to. Sproles is actually a very strong little guy. Im not worried about Sproles ability to block. He has been doing better than LT at it actually.
Rivers is one of the best QB's under pressure.. Simple pressure isn't enough.. He'll step into pressure. Sack or nothing in this game bud.
He's also thrown 6 picks from the shotgun formation, which I suspect he'll be throwing out of a lot. The Jets blitz is unlike any other, they cover in layers and their blitzes come from everywhere and anywhere. Phil said so himself-
Then we will see how you feel about if you lose. I f we dont turn the ball over, i can see a 14 point victory for us. Thats the only way i see you winning is if we turn it over a few times. You did lose 7 games this year.
In year 1 implementing it.... I'd bet they don't lose 7 games next year - add back Jenkins and a pass rusher.
I thought it would be obvious I was being sarcastic. If you win by 14 it will be because Sanchez has a bad game, not because of our defense. Sure our D has been beat, but the only passing game that beat us was the Pats one time, and we've played 5 games against the top 4 passing attacks. We lost 7 games, but the defense was rarely to blame. I don't expect the Jets to win, but I think they can. The Chargers passing attack WILL be limited this week. You haven't faced a pass D like this. We're pretty much head and shoulders above any pass D in the league.
Only obvious with a smilie. I cant hear you on my monitor And, i feel the same. I dont expect the Jets to win but i too think they can.
So we should be coming to YOUR house to play against your 16-0 team, since nobody has figured out your defense.
Sort of....IN all of our losses...direct mistakes have lead to an unsuccessful effort. In every game where we haven't made mistakes to lose....we haven't lost. Truth is, we made enough mistakes to lose seven games. We aren't doing that now. Jets 20 SD 10. Boom. Headshot.
