So, this Sunday happens to be my birthday.....I haven't looked forward this much for my birthday since I turned 21. This could possibly be one of the best or worst birthdays in my life, however I am truly ecstatic for the heart this team has had,and progress that this team has made this season.....Has anybody had a crazy meaningful jets game on their birthday before?
Hope it's a good one. Mine's always a few days before the kickoff weekend, so I've had fascinating preseason games as jets' bday presents to me
Mine just ended an hour and a half ago. The wife picked me up a visiting Revis jersey and let me open it up on Saturday so I could wear it for the playoff gameS. Yes, she said games. Good karma. I already love that jersey. It's my 4th now.
Sure - You may have heard about it. The Midnight Miracle. 10/23/2000. At the time I didn't have full season tickets and split a season. I always tried to pick the game nearest my birthday and the Dolphins. That one answered both at the time. Mine was in the past. Hope you have a splendid birthday this week. (Sorry, don't know you but really want the Jets to win ya know)
I was 2 rows in on the goal line in Tampa when the JETS kicked there ass! Greatest b'day vacation i've ever had.
That's ridiculous. Vincent Jackson doesn't even pay attention to gravity. Gravity pays attention to him.
Didn't they technically win that game on 10/24/2000, ~1:00am? So really, they gave you s*** on your birthday, then began pulling it together the second it was over? Oh, and the Jets gave me the only win of their last five games last season. Watching Ellis run it in for the winning TD was priceless. Though, I still would have traded it in for a f***ing playoff berth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_New_York_Jets_season#Week_15:_vs._Buffalo_Bills But hey, :shit:.
NASA has scheduled Vincent Jackson to provide repairs on the Hubble Space Telescope after he jumps over Revis for his 12th touchdown on Sunday.
My birthday is December 27th, so this year the Colts gave me a present by being being scared little morons
My birthday is today. I'm glad the game isn't today... last time the Jets played on my birthday Doug Brien missed 2 field goals against Pittsburgh. You play to win the game!
Last week watching the game, right before it started, one of my buddy's stood up and said "Boys, this game dictates the rest of our night; either a happy drunk, or an angry drunk". Brings a tear to your eye.
