I'm starting to lose my mind with excitement here. I love the tough challenge ahead of us and I can't wait for kickoff...
While this year ain't over, I have a feeling that the Jets will be perennial contender for years to come, if they can get ST help, keep on building around Revis, get some good receiving help, and keep your RB's healthy. Pettine has quietly become one of the dominant DC's in the league, and Rex, despite his buffoonery, has the same genius that his dad had, PLUS he can communicate effectively. I don't get a sense about too many teams like that, but this is the same one I had about the Chargers in '02, as well as the cowboys in the early nineties. I wasn't old enough, but I believe I would have felt the Steelers of the 70's and the 'Niners of the 80's were of the same mold back when they first started their relative dynasties. In short, you are no "flash-in-the-pan" types, like St. Louis, N'awleans, or New England, or quirky like Pittsburgh and Minnesota. You actually have a nucleus that a good front office should keep together. OK, 'nuff brown nosing. Well, it ain't brown nosing if it's true. You should rule the East and become perennial contenders for as long as your front office and coaching staff stays focused.
Well said sir. And as much as it probably pains us to say it, the Chargers have a dominant team and imo is the toughest game in the AFC/NFL for us. Sunday cannot come soon enough
All right men, that's it for me, I'm signing off until Monday, gonna enjoy the wife, weekend and football. I hope we will be having a party come Sunday night. Go JETS!!!
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! It's only fucking Tuesday night!! WTF? I still feel the afterglow, but I'm convinced we can do this and the excitement is already building.
i am annoyed for having to wait till Sunday for this game, but if there is any kind of good way of being annoyed, its waiting for your team to play in the AFC Championship
I'm soaking up every second of this, I am incredibly excited but I am enjoying the week leading up to the game.
