I say just enjoy the week, keep reading all the douchey posts from the douchey SD fans, soak up all the hate on the radio and TV, and enjoy the damn ride. We'll be going through enough hell on Sunday. And who knows, it could be another 5 years before we make the divisional round again.

Good Post. However, the illogical idiotic fans range all across the USA from, NY to SD. From all logical standpoint, SD is the favorite, and as I mentioned before, they're the hottest team in the league. My gripe was about how I've read many posts in charger forums this week and 90% of posters come out and gives the jets 0% chance, and some even go to the extreme and say they'll be disappointed if they don't win by 2-3 touchdowns. Really? I really have nothing against the Chargers as the team. It's just the fans showed me by what they say, that most of them are on cloud nine. I would love nothing more than to shut these fans up and show the "heavily inferior (as they say)" team beat them. For fans like you who show due respect to any other playoff team deserves the best. However, there can only be one winner. May the better team win.
Don't get me wrong. Of course we are going to have our homers, we all do. Last year we were essentially the same situation as you, except we had virtually the same core of players as we do now, though with a couple key injuries. When we hit the Colt boards in our Wild Card game, all they could think about was how lucky they were playing the "8-8 Chargers" and planning their Super Bowl run. Of course, we knew better. Reality was handed the following week in Pittsburgh. To that extent, we were in the exact same situation as you, and we did play Pittsburgh well until the close of the 1st half, then didn't even have another drive until the 4th quarter. I don't fully equate the same analogy to this year, as you only have one true superstar in Revis, along with an excellent defense, but a less than spectacular offense. But the situation and how the fans view the game with the events that transpired, such as starting your playoffs with two weeks left in the season, is just like us in 2008. We won five straight games during a stretch that one game would have eliminated our playoff hopes, or run. And how the fans feel is EXACTLY the same, and that is where we find our hopes.
True SuperStar?? You are your true superstars?? Not one person on your defense, your most famous defender is now a brokedown woman beater. Jackson is good but he's no SuperStar. LT is a shitstain of his former self and then you have Rivers. Gates is good- With his mouth facing our D, he'll be shutting up very soon. SuperStars don't win games teams do. I guess that's more of that SoCal attitude. Our whole offensive line is a SuperStar.
the superstar arguement is good...feeley was on the FAN this afternoon and was asked about how the lack of superstars has effected the jets lockerroom...he said the lack of superstars is good because everyone comes together and fights harder...he said there are pros to having a superstar and used tom brady as an example...however NOT having a superstar is not an essential piece of winning
I enjoyed every minute of this week.. Now hopping a plane first thing in the morning to SAN... Francisco, NOT Diego, on business, my luck sucks... This is the off year for San Diego, we'll host a show there next year... I still can't believe it...

I'm just enjoying the ride. The Jets are playing with house money. Nobody thinks they can win except the players, coaches and Jets fans. Complete disrespect from the prognosticators. Its awesome. Come Sunday the Jets will shock the NFL experts by playing smashmouth football and walking off the field winners.

I usually like the chargers cus i have friends from SD but my feelings have done a complete 180 this week. Their fans are total douches and im starting to miss miami fans.
