All yesterday told me is that Woodson will give up a big play and make one too. Revis rarely gives up the big play.
Revis is gonna win it and it's not gonna be that close. And it gets announced later today, NOT WEDNESDAY.
That's wrong. It gets announced later today, last week the awards on that chart were also named a day early.
I think Curtis Martin is the best comparison to Revis in terms of being modest and never resting on laurels at any point in his career. Revis will get the big contract and still be just as good as he is today, like Deion was. Revis is the next great CB. Aso never got DPOY considerations as seriously as Revis has. Aso is no longer the top CB in the league - no one can or should think that anymore.
What I've realized with Aso is that he does shut down opposing WRs, but you can ignore him because of how bad the Raiders are at stopping the run and how bad their other CBs are, plus their horrid pass rush. Revis gives the illusion that his guy is open at the stem of the route and then closes in quickly. I've never seen a CB do what Revis does and make it look beyond effortless. The Chargers see Aso twice a year, so I can understand it.
he could have made that money with another team. Shame he stuck in Oakland. Its not going to get better. He'll be an 8 year player when he's out of there. Loyal move, but why spend your career losing?
I raise them myself. They are cute when they are babies but can get quite mean as they grow up. I am partial to my Rhode Island Red Retriever.
