    .....get rid of him.

Has been playing lousy and scared all day.

Entirely responsible for the long Cedric Benson TD run.

rhodes isn't as fast as i always thought he was, as shown on that play, as well as on his fumble recovery last week and he got chased down after 60 yards or so

I was looking for a Rhodes thread to bump....so BUMP.

Plain and simple. Kerry Rhodes wants Kerry Rhodes to get completely respected by our fan base again? He can start by making Antonio Gates' day on Sunday miserable. He did a good job on Tony Gonzales, I want to see what he does in the playoffs against an elite TE. Come on Kerry, DING! DING! You game?

I can say with 99% confidence that Gates will literally run over Rhodes on at least one play.

It would be great to trade Kerry for a draft pick & then get lucky in FA w/a veteran like New Orleans did when everyone thought Darren Sharper was washed up.

Let's just say they do get rid of Rhodes.........who do you replace him with? Any ideas? He might be better than any alternatives available.

He's perfect for the Jets. Hard hitter, although coverage skills need work.

rex has smacked that pretty boy smile right off rhode's face.

no other coach we've had since BP would have had the calhoons to do what rex did.

rhodes is playing better of late b/c of rex.

sunday will be his do or die game.

    i say rhodes will 'do'.

Lazy sack of shit who's been burned on one too many plays late in the season.

I'm sure that the team has also noticed and has quickly tired of his non-performance.

If he's not shipped out in exchage for some mid-level draft picks during the offseason I'd be very surprised.

I'm going to sound like a jackass but I really don't care . . . I told everyone last year on this site that this guy was terribly overrated and I got flamed for it. The guy is a decent safety with above average cover skills.

He is overrated/paid, but if we can't get fair value for him I don't wanna get rid of him.

we need hitters over the middle more so than coverage guys. we need the fear factor in center field which will eliminate the middle and also revis' side.

Receivers need to be afraid of slant patterns over the middle.

I could live with being burnt with coverage in the middle as long as I see some punishments on WRs.

i agree except for this week.....if we were playing the jets and their #1 run offense, that'd be a different story!

Sadly, this week, we need someone who can hit AND play in coverage but that's a rare commodity in this league.

I have no doubt KR will always be in position for the tackle on Antonio Gates. It's the tackling part that worries me.

Taylor Mays is nothing special, he is an athletic freak but he misses a ton of tackles and fails to make some of the plays he should and as you pointed out his coverage needs lots and lots or work, I am not one of our elite scouts, but I know guys like WW and Mr. E have dropped this guy down a few notches on their big board and if i remember correctly, he has fallen out of their top 5 for the most part.

I made this point previously, but I will again, if we just give rhodes away, it will open a hole we can not fix in the secondary rotation.

The only way I move rhodes would be if I was offered a big time deal which moves us up to Select either Eric Berry or Ndamukong Suh
