I might be getting delusional but I think that if Sanchez can get one more playoff start then he and the offense could catch fire.
guys...no brainer, and im glad most of you agree. the chargers 1.) we match up way better against the chargers than colts. Put revis on jackson and double gates with a safety. Force rivers to throw to bums like malcolm floyd. Also, their D line is TINY and sucks against the run without jamal williams. we can play ball control with them and run it down their throats. and yes, norv turner SUCKS in the playoffs 2.) We might have to play the colts anyways in the AFC championship game. and if not, assuming the ravens win in NE, we still have the opportunity for a home game in NY. Win win situation...
we're more than likely going to have to play both to make it to the Super Bowl, so who gives a shit whether we play one on a specific week.
That's fine, but we want the Ravens to win out so that if we do the AFC Championship is at the meadowlands. This is a no brainer, we want the Ravens to win, so we want the Chargers.
I think the Chargers are better with more weapons and Rivers is playing as good as Manning right now. Both matchups are very tough but I think the Chargers are the best team in the AFC right now.
Who do we want to play next It looks to me that we are going to play against Chargers in the next weekend. The Ravens are dominating the Pats right now and the Pats are done since the first play of the start of the game! First quater: 21-0 I believe JETS can beat the Chargers.
http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=52754 Looks like it's a good chance it's the Chargers right now. :chargers:
Unless the Pats pull off one hell of a comeback, the Jets are going back to Cali to face the Chargers.
I like the idea of a homecoming for Sanchez. Should have a lot of support there, and hopefully he'll feel very comfortable with the weather.
It's gunna be chargers, I just took a look at their regular season schedule, and no doubt they are good team with a number of weapons , but that has to be one of the weaker Schedules i have seen this year. Call me crazy but I'd rather play Indy. Indy is so overrated its unreal. Manning is obviously Manning, but put pressure on him and he can be beat. Their running game is good but far from dominant. Their defense is undersized but fast, which means we should be able to just ground and pound. If we get behind and have to throw, well then the game is over. I think right now, SD has many more offensive weapons that can just blow the game wide open on any given play: Sproles, Gates, VJax, and even maybe LT. The teams we have the most problems with are those with that big play potential. Ask a team to systematically gain 3?7 yards a play on us for an entire drive and its not going to happen. However, our D is susceptible to the big play. Also, their D also seems to matchup a little less favorably, as they are pretty big and physical.
