lol, I know your kidding. You can use the search function to find many old threads about Hall of Fame QB's that sucked ass their first year. Including the one we will most likely face next week in P Manning. And Pete Carrol is just a hater, fuck that dude.
Did anyone happen to catch Sanchez's press conference where he busted Pete Carroll's balls for leaving to coach Seattle?
Yeah I caught it. Rookie mistake on his part. Anything that might cause a distraction off the field right now is something that should not be brought up.
Well, going by the fact that this was his first year in the nfl, I would say he had a solid year. He is only going to get better. And you never know, maybe he will become the first rookie QB to win the superbowl?
Hey Shmoe... care to give us your thoughts on Sanchez not being ready now? He sure as hell did not look ready at all last night.
You're serious? First of all this is who the Jets are, they bring attention onto themselves. Whatever purists think, this works for them. Besides, I loved that little dig and you could tell he was busting his balls and wasn't malicious about it. But he did get the last word yesterday.
I'd rather he'd waited to make that little contribution until the post-Super Bowl news conference on a Jets win. It came off as an immature little dig that was totally irrelevant to the Jets situation at the moment. Reminded me that he was a rookie after he'd just played a game that made it look like he was growing up some.
No. One wonders if Pete wasn't planning on his exit from USC...and the possibility of keeping him around.
But Carroll had just agreed to go to Seattle this weekend, it would have been a totally dated reference if Sanchez had waited a month. And if you actually saw him speak it was definitely tongue-in-cheek.
Sanchez was joking and he had already mentioned it to Carroll...they probably both laughed about it..... I swear to god, the attacks on Sanchez are incredible: scripted answers to a press conference, you'd think the guy was boycotting the NY media. Eating a hot dog in a blowout, you'd think he was out drinking after a bad NY loss. Save the attacks for NFL players with gun, drugs, and criminal problems.
