One and the same. I agree. Maybe some of Alex's magic is rubbing off on the Jets. He got that Sanchez jersey for X-mas and they haven't lost when he wears it. He has also gotten into the habit of yelling "snargleboogle" (or something like that) when the opposing kicker attempts a FG. He was 2 for 2 today. I told him to keep it up!
I have a new combo. Jets Boxer shorts. Jets Jersey with the year I was born (55) for a number, my name on the back. My lucky green"Lid" from Ireland, white socks and my Rebock Jets sneakers. Sitting in boxer shorts makes it difficult to recieve guests, but they don't stay long. Wearing boxers also make lap cleanup after an everything pizza so much easier. I don't even mind the dog licking my lap clean. And the Jets won a PO game. Can't get much better than this.
If we can kill him for his screw ups we can show him love when he does his job. Sanchez was awesome today! He did exactly what he had to do and is finally showing some maturity. It's like a light just went on at the perfect time.
I'm not the superstitious type but the Jets win games when I'm wearing nothing but my boxers. It's hot here.
I have to give Rex a lot of credit, if I'm not mistaken it was when he installed the color system that Sanchez seemed to have started limiting the mistakes (if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me) Sanchez looked very solid today and could be the real deal for you guys. I look forward to years of Henne/Sanchez match-ups, hopefully.
just like he wasnt the worst qb ever when he threw 5 ints earlier this year, this game does not make him the annointed starter for the next 10 years. he was put in good positions all day and came through with a very nice game. congratulations to him but lets not annoint him the greatest qb ever quite yet.
Hardly doing that, but this was the playoffs. No one annointed him yet. He played a very solid, mistake free game... something he really hasn't done for weeks on end. Here is what I take: He was poised He read defenses better than he ever has before. He make very accurate throws all game No mistakes Like I said, even if he collapses next week, there is now hope (at least in my mind) that he can live up to his draft pick, and play in very cold weather. No one is calling him Peyton Manning II....

You are like the biggest wet blanket I have ever seen. All you do is go around and try and temper everyone's enthusiasm. What do you do for a living? Petro did the merge. He has every right to do so, but he is NEVER here, and the ONE time he shows up, he goes into mod routine? THAT was what got me pissed. He doesn't know what has transpired, he doesn't know the history. He never reads the boards... except for like... now. He leaves it up to you guys all year, then we have a playoff game, and he comes in and starts shooting... and merging. It's his site, he can do what he wants. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Petro should stick to what he does best. Take pictures, get good mods, and let the site run. That has worked well. Jumping in the middle of things... bad management. If he has a problem with this... fine. I can live with a ban. I'm a Jets fan. Always have been, always will be. Petro has no control over that.
