Until the holding penalty against the Bengals towards the end of the game, it looked like the Jets D was gonna blow it. Again. Then they sacked Palmer twice to ice it. Anyone else get nervous before the Bengals missed the last field goal attempt?

If people say they weren't nervous they are lying.

I was upset about the penalty by DH, however we can't really complain about the defense at the end of the game because Jay Feely was the emergency punter, and he gave them short field position.

There is only so much you can do to stop Palmer when he has to move the ball only 60 yards.

Well, I'm interested in hearing what Mike has to say about the Jets D today. He was on the money all week tellin' Jets fans to look at the Atlanta game when people call the Jets D the great Defense. No. 1 or not, the defense does seem to collapse at the end of close games.

I was nervous. Even when it was 4th and 22. We have all seen to many games slip away but I think those days might be long gone.

I was half insanely nervous and half furious about the AWFUL calls that were going against the JETS

I wasn't nervous. The Jets dominated the gals and were clearly the better team. Of course you run through possible doomsday scenarios, but that didn't make me nervous.

There were quite a few BS pass interference calls. By the way, I think Braylon Edwards needs glasses.

I was scared shitless. Hard for a 55 year old to shake the SOJ thing, even though I want to wish it away. I suppose I will always be nervous. Maybe that's why I hard such a hard time believing in Sanchez.

Maybe now... I can shed it like an old snake skin.
