man, I REALLY love this team right now. Rex is the *perfect* coach. One of hte few really hard-ass coaches that can still legitimately be called a players coach

VERY Happy to Eat CROW! Sanchez!

I have never been so happy to be wrong before. I didn't like the Sanchez pick and said so. I don't like So CAL QB's in the NE. Sanchez DID suck mid-season, that I won't back off on, but what scared me wasd I saw him getting worse, not better.

I could not be happier than to be wrong about Sanchez. He played really well today, in fridgid temps. He had two key drops, one by Keller, another by Edwards. He played great. He had to, or we would have lost. Sanchez won this game today. Sure, he made good throws, but he managed the game really well too. He finally looked confident. He finally looked like a good NFL QB. I was dead wrong... and I could not be any happier.

I complained about people who said "he played well enough to win." I sttill say that is BS. I wanted to see him WIN a game. That is what he did today. HE won a game. Period.

You want to tell me eat shit, fine. Tell me to F off fine. I don't care. What I care about is the Jets. I never wanted Sanchez to be a failure, I just didn't beleive in him. He is a Jet, and our future. Even when I said he sucks, I always said that I wanted him to succeed, I just didn't think he could. Our team's future was on his shoulders. He is a Jet. I am a life long Jet fan. I NEVER wanted to see him fail. I just expected him to.

I could give a shit less about being wrong. Sanchez won this game. Even if he sucks next week, I can now believe in the kid. I admit I was wrong, and I've never been so happy to be wrong.

When the pressure was at it's highest peak, Sanchez played like an NFL QB. I was wrong. And I've never been so happy.

My respect level for you climbed by leaps and bounds after this thread. I'm glad that's one area we won't have to fight over any longer.

well to be fair to you, there was a part in the middle of the season there where it looked like he needed some work, but he played like a man of carson's age today.

Tberd, you know what? We oldtimers have been waiting a long time for a playoff game played like this. The SoCal kid is growing up right before our very eyes and yeah, it looks great. I still would like for him to have a cagey old vet like say, a Warner or a Gannon or someone of that ilk on the sideline next year be it as either backup or a QB coach.

BTW, being able to admit when you're wrong is a sign of great wisdom. :)

    ...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Also funny: Sanchez's joke about Carrol:

"I told him, 'I don't think it's the right time. Statistically, it's better to stay in college right now.'" Again, almost pissed myself.
