It is hard to bring it in but the CS at least should expect a little more from the first round pick they traded up to get. That wasn't the most difficult pass he's been asked to catch. Moot point, though. We're up and the "could have" game is an exercise in futility. His play thus far in this game is excellent and that one drop is by no means a blemish on his game.

I hate NBC's football coverage...it sucks; It's almost as bad as NFL Network.

Best first half Sanchez has played so far this season. Every throw was precise INCLUDING the should be 50 yard TD to Braylon.

I also like the 3 runs at the end of the half. Made sure the Bengals couldn't do anything without any timeouts, and there was still potential that we could move the football and score with good field position. Brilliant game so far by Schotty too. I just hope the punter situation doesn't come back to hurt us in the end.

    Palmer is clearly rattled.

And oh yeah, my TV volume is now off and am just listening to 1050. Worst announcing crew I've ever heard.

They need to give him a whole series. They give him 1 carry then put Greene in. Not that Greene isn't playing great, but it'd be nice to get both guys into a rhythm.

They may be saving him for the 4th quarter, a strategy they used a couple times down the stretch this year.

This has been pretty good. I would've liked to try to score on that last drive knowing we get the ball to open up the 2nd half. That would give us the opportunity to be up 3 scores by 8 or so minutes to go in the 3rd, ideally.

But..conservative coaching is ok when your team is on the money.

Excellent first half, overall. Sanchez is playing very very well. I was really worried after the first few minutes of the game but the Jets weathered the storm very nicely. The Jets would really gain a big advantage, IMO, by getting some points on the first drive of the second half.

    GO JETS!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing to think if Edwards doesn't drop that TD we're in complete control. Granted I'll take the 14-7 lead but to think it could be 21-7 and the ball to start.

Yeah, that wasn't a drop. Ball was tipped a foot away from his hands.

And honestly, this is the best I've seen Sanchez as a pro. Accurate, not bouncing around the pocket, etc.

BTW, Jones needs to step it up..he is 6 for 8..without Greene we would be cooked.

How bad is it that an announcing team that includes Joe Buck can call itself better than two networks?
