    SNY had Rex Ryan press Conference on. I think they said David Harris had a stinger. So maybe he is o.k. and can play on Saturday. But I admit I caught it late.

    3:30PM Mark Sanchez will be addressing the media. Live on SNY

    a stinger is way different than an ankle sprain. A stinger goes through the neck and shoulder. Basically a temporary pinched nerve due to a hard blow. Pain goes down neck and arms.

    If it was yesterday's presser, he was talking about Fowler, Harris' backup... He had a stinger...

    Stingers (AKA pinched nerves) can happen in your back, arms, legs, anywhere there are nerves.

    I played with a guy that had to quit because he had a really bad stinger in his sciatic nerve - he took a hat to his right butt cheek in practice. In football, they are typically in the shoulders and arms because that's where the brunt of the physical hitting takes place.

    yes, I guess a stinger is any nerve injury but the common ones in football occur in the neck, back and arms.

    You guys are correct David Harris does have that ankle problem, not a stinger. Ihedebo had the stinger in practice. Watching the recording on the Jets website now.

    Here's my question...

    With all the media attention on this game...Why did the NFL take a week to issue the fine.

    This should have been a Monday or Tuesday item.

    Marvin and Rex are both 'take someone out' type of coaches....

    The League cut Marvin some slack on this. The last thing Roger Goodell wanted (besides me banging Jane Skinner) was Marvin being asked why his 3rd RB took out the Jets LEADING TACKLER BY GOING RIGHT AT HIS ANKLES ALL WEEK..
    The Refs owe Rex some slack on sunday...we'll see.
