I think David Harris got injured. I was in an insanely loud bar. I noticed he didn't play the 2nd half. Does anyone know what happened? Was it serious? BTW I didn't see a thread on this...........
i noticed 51 out there and couldn't figure out who it was... nothing reported as of yet and don't recall any injury to harris...something to keep an eye out on
#51 is Ryan Fowler. I don't know what happened to Harris. I hope they were just taking him out as a precaution.
I think they were resting him for obvious reasons. I would think that we would have heard something about an injury by now if there was cause for concern...
randy lange reports ankle injury. no word on how serious. "LB David Harris hobbled off with an ankle injury on Lowery's INT and watched the second half from the bench. No word on how serious Harris' ankle is"
Nothing was reported during or after the game regarding an injury to Harris. We were up big by half, so I hope Rex was just resting him for THE PLAYOFFS! edit: ^^^ nevermind, didnt see the Lange report
can't post the link, cuz i don't have enough posts yet. it's lange's post-game article on newyorkjets.com
It's mentioned here: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-bengals-jetsinjuries EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP)—Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco(notes) has been sidelined in the third quarter of the game with the New York Jets on Sunday night with a left knee injury. Ochocinco made no receptions in the game. He was joined on the sideline by defensive tackle Pat Sims(notes), who broke his right forearm, and safety Tom Nelson(notes), who hurt his left knee. The Bengals will host a wild-card playoff game next weekend, and the status of the three players for that game is uncertain. Jets linebacker David Harris(notes) went out in the second half with an ankle problem. The Jets would not say which ankle he hurt.
Hmmm that isn't good at all. Johnson, I think went around Fowler on a run, for big 3rd down yardage, that Harris would have eaten up.
if CJ is out next week that is an awful costly "lay down" i doubt he'll be out but it could slow him down tremendously... also pat sims whether he plays or not will be seriously slowed down with a broken forearm.. all + for the jets
I was at the game. He was injured on the play where Lowery got the pick. Very few people noticed because everyone was going nuts over the pick and run back. I looked toward the middle of the field and noticed Harris trying to stand up at the end of the play in obvious discomfort. He tried to hobble to the sideline, but wasn't too successful. Two teammates came over and he had the throw his arms around their shoulders and be helped off the field.
I thought I already heard last night that Sims was done for the season. Looked it up, he is done. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8854/news
