I was looking at the Bengals forums most of them think Marvin threw the game on purpose... what a bunch of BS! HAHAH!!! http://boards.bengals.com/showthread.php?t=60210
They wouldn't keep their starters in that long if they were trying to trick us into thinking we dominated them. They were simply physically dominated, that will sit in their heads all 6 days they have to recover from being Mangold Punched.
They had a lot of key players on defense rested and obviously didn't want to give away any film for next week. The game was a blowout but that was CIN's B-team. Next week will be a better contest.
probably not good for palmer and co.s confidence after taht. just wish we got more shots on carson before he was pulled.
"Yeah, but you could take the top 5 teams in the NFL and give them a bland, limited playbook and they could still give the NY ***** Jets a competitive game. This was an abortion of a game." Thats my favorite
Please name me the KEY plaeyrs that were rested on Defense besides the DT Peko who was inactive due to "injury" or Malauga
We have film of 15 other games that they've played this season. They may not have been playing at 100%, but holy shit it's hard to convince me that they're a better team.
Next week won't be a carbon copy of this game folks. Ryan was wise not to throw the entire book at the Kittens but, I'd bet next month's mortgage payment that the Kittens won't be surprised by our wildcat. Best guess is that they'll stack 8 just like Atlanta did and hope to hell Sanchez doesn't continue his rapid maturity..
Maybe the held back the playbook but you going to tell me that you line up physically with another man and you just going to lay down and just say here run all over me LOL id say screw you coach I play to win.
Actually, Palmer's WR's didn't do him any favors. It was almost like they were too cold to play the game. Balls hitting them in the numbers, in the hands. It was almost as if since 85 couldn't get his groove on, the rest of the Wr's bitched up and decided just to run their patterrns and hope Palmer threw to ball somewhere else.
Thrown? Stupid. Their team had no interest in really playing this game? Well, if that wasn't obvious enough, then somebody missed a big boat.
Even though we steamrolled them tonight, they definately did not have their A game going. I am much more hopeful about Saturday now, but it's not going to be another one sided game. Though damn it was fun to watch.
LOL thrown? are they crazy, i was actually talking to friend of mine during the game discussing if the Bengals should bench there starters to attempt to make it look like they didn't care, for psychological purposes . lol They were humiliated for a half. you couldn't t throw a game that bad if you tried, completely dominated. gonna be interesting game next week.
when you 'throw a game' you tweek 'this or that' so you lose by a point or two below the spread, not 300pts. duh.
I have a hard time believing the Bengals left it all out on the field. did they want to win? sure. did they play worse than they expected? absolutely. but did they hold back when it came to play selection? without a fucking doubt.
