They had Ellis as limited in practice Wed. and Thurs. and did not practice Friday but they added illness to the knee as reason so he may have the bug that a few other Jets have had. I think the questionable they are showing was Friday status. Haven't seen anything more recent yet.
So on the money. As much as people knock him, he's very important for this game. They didn't sign anyone, so I'm hoping this isn't a big deal. I hate watching kickers punt, it never works out!
It's a lot different kicking in Arizona than in the swirling winds that occupy the Meadowlands, but that's still a suprising stat. I wouldn't think that shankopotami could be due to wind or temperature.
He's kicking the shit out of the ball this year. Although, he did play practically 11 games in a dome. Too bad he didn't do that prior to him getting cut.
I know Phoenix is different than the Meadowlands but we were scrambling (unnecessarily)for a punter in preseason. Thankfully we wound up with Weatherford who is at least decent. Cause Hodges is shitting all over the place for Mangini and his Browns.
