Always hate to see a player go down like that. All the best for Wes, even if I can't stand him, being on the Pats and all.

He's the only player I respect on that team. That's tough...

Saw that live. Just seconds before he blew his knee out my buddy asks me if the Patriots are already in the playoffs.

    Whoops.....

Terrible to see that in a Week 17 game. I like Welker. The only good thing about this is Jim Caldwell looks like a genius.

Even if I don't like Welker, I would never wish that shit on anyone.

Anyone that gloats over another player having a catastrophic season ending injury is a fucking idiot..

    Wes Welker hurts knee

THis is why teams that have clinched should rest there key players. The extent of his injury is not known yet but he had to be carted off from the sideline area.

To all the Colts fan crying like little bitches, this is EXACTLY why Manning was removed.

The Pats may have lost arguably their best offensive weapon.

    IDIOTS.

The only thing I will laugh about is the fact that this fate falls on Belichick. I feel bad for Wes, but not for Belichick or the Patriots....

I was watching that game, and will be shocked if it's not a MAJOR injury. He looked like he was hurt bad - tore something in his knee, I'd expect. I never feel bad for the Pats, but I definitely feel bad for Welker.

I'm not sure how you could argue that Welker is a better offensive weapon than Tom Brady, but this is certainly going to hurt in the playoffs.

Losing Welker does two things, it essentially kills any chance they had at winning the Super Bowl. It also really makes Marvin Lewis think long and hard about playing his guys tonight.

Honestly it gives the Jets a shot against the Pats if that was who they ended up playing in the playoffs next week.

It looks like he trashed his knee. Man he gets the ball quite a bit and took a lot of punishment. Lucky for the Pats they have that little Jew (relax it's a joke)........

Tom Brady also has 3 broken ribs. The Pats are pretty damn banged up.
