It's going to be frigid out there and I say the colder the better. BRING IT! I'm so excited to be a part of tomorrow, of course because its has major playoff implications, but its a historic game in Jets history. I've never seen a Jets team clinch a spot LIVE and I'm freaking siked!!!! I haven't felt the way I've felt all week since I was 4 and it was the week of Christmas.
i got some nike thermal gloves, a thermal headband, full body thermal, thermal underarmor underwear, underarmor top, jets jersey, jets jacket, down jacket, jets scarf, and a huge jets blanket i'm SIIIKKEEDDD
I'm going to layered up like a mofo. I have a thermal pants I'll be wearing under my jeans, a thermal shirt, 2 long-sleeved shirts, hoodie, jacket, jersey. I also will be using hand-warmers in my shoes. Finally, I'll use my new Jets hat and gloves to keep the rest of me warm. This is gonna be awesome! 22 degrees with a wind chill of ~7 degree at kickoff!
I went to the Denver game last year at the Meadowlands when it was about 35 and raining and that was absolutely brutal because I was underprepared 20 degrees with a 5 degree windchill but at the meadowlands with the bowl and the whipping winds it makes it feel like 30 below against those cold seats for 3 hours when you don't move
Forecast for tomorrow night: Giants Stadium 15 degrees F 20-30mph winds Wind chill factor: -5 degrees Downey, California 50 degrees F 5 mph winds Wind chill factor: 50 degrees
hahahaha.....you fucking pussies. it was -46 degrees celcius in my backyard today. If i had tickets to the Jets game...i'd be going in shorts.
negative....but i do play hockey outside in this weather. just bring a shitload of whiskey...that'll keep you warm.
In fla, it's been gettin into the 30's and 40's this weekend, Me and the fam are cold, but Iv'e been to the Meadowlands in december, its no joke with those winds!!!!!!
I got compression pants. Really don't need to layer up with those on. they're awesome. Layering up from the waist up is the hard part, but as long as your head is kept warm the rest isn't as bad. And the whole crowd will be cheering all game, so that will keep everyone else warm with all of that movement and craziness. Drunken craziness.
Haha I was just joking. But since you asked: I went the the Falcons game this year, the Dolphins game last year, and the Steelers game the year before (in November). And I was just at the Minnesota at Chicago game last week where my beer froze...
