I have a similar story, but more recent. Living in Ohio, I have personalized NY Jet plates. I was coming out of Kroger (supermarket) one evening loading stuff into my car. This guy walks by and says "You're a Jet fan"? I didn't look up right away and replyed.."Yes Sir". I turned around and it was Mike Nugent, it was the summer after he was drafted by the Jets. I'm 5'10" and he was a little shorter than me. Nice guy only chatted a couple of minutes. I told him I was orginally from Long Island and have always loved the Jets, he said that was "awesome" and I wished him luck. Having the Jet plates alot of people start small talk....You from NY? Last year alot of Favre stuff etc. I don't get too much shit from Ohioans, cause they usually don't have much to say about the Browns and Bengals. A few people at work are starting to talk smack aout the match-up this Sunday night. BTW, I love the Phoenix (Scottsdale) area......one of the places (or San Diego) I would love to relocate.

I agree that Mo and C-Mart have to be there. Didn't see this mentioned, but is anyone surprised Freeman McNeil won't be there? He had to have been the franchise's best RB till Curtis came.
I always loved FREEMAN and always will,, what a class act!!!!! He was fired years ago from the Radio show for being honest in his postgame ,, much like Jennings was! The both of those guys were the best--unlike Buttle who is a talking head for management---he was a very good Jet LB but now he just collects a paycheck
If we're up at the half, this group should get that crowd even more riled up. It's better than any other shit they subject us to (Flight crew, random people attempting FGs).
