No TJ and how in the World did Faneca and Champ Bailey make it? The fan voting aspect should be completely take off.

    That's bullshit. Harris deserves it.

Hey, anybody know if this is the first time somebody's made the Pro Bowl at two positions? DeSean Jackson is in as a wide receiver and KR.

Ferguson should have made it over Faneca. Thomas Jones should have, but Cedric Benson probably should have also and didn't.

This doesn't matter, none of the 3 will even play in the game.

Fan voting is a waste of time and should have no effect on the actual rosters... The Pro Bowl should be based on the top performers at each positions in each individual year. Performances from before the 2009 season are completely irrelevant... How did this get lost?

I can see Thomas Jones not making it since Rice, Johnson, and Jones-Drew are very worthy players.

But I'm surprised that David Harris missed it...

I'm also surprised Faneca made it as well. It's a reputation thing of course..

Ray Rice and C. Johnson are way way better.

Agree that Brick should be in.

This happens in every sports all-star game, some guys get in on name recognition.

Bah, the Jets had the most Pro Bowl players last season and they didn't even make the playoffs.

Harris would have made it if the Jets were 10-5 right now and the defense had held in two games at the end.

Brick does not belong in over the guys that made it. What hurts Harris is that they only take 2 Inside LB's and 3 Outside LB's. Harris deserves it but Ray Lewis making it isn't the same as Faneca or Bailey.
TJ really isn't at the same level as the RB's that made it.

All in all its a pretty fair roster for an "all star" game.

that was my point ? since there were two RBs (Rice and Johnson) who were shoe-ins, it's hard to say Jones got robbed, since he's one of three guys who were about equally qualified for the final spot.

Meh. They have the All-Pro team for that. Pro Bowl voting is bullshit, but nobody cares about the Pro Bowl anyway. If they took out the fan voting, they might as well not even play the game.

They could wait until later in the season to open the voting, though. It's pretty silly that you can vote for Pro Bowlers in what, october?

If anyone feels angry about the Jets' picks, take a guess about how the AFC North champion Bengals feel - they have zero players selected.
