    Actually that was our 4th division title. (1968, 1969, 1998 and 2002)

Midnight merical, with jason taylor crying, has to be right up there. Virtually every fin fan i know went to bed 'happy', and woke up 'unhappy'. Kinda like yesterday. Can't happen enough.

Drubbing Manning 41-0, watching manning soooo confused he lined up under left gaurd....thing of beauty (left gaurd waving his hand behind him 'move down one', hahahaha).

watching the pats celebrate after beating miami and standing out in the cold parking lot watching monitors of the late jet/gb game....priceless.

edit: i know it was in another decade, but the ken obrien - dan marino shootout was just as thrilling as the midnight merical.

and beating lyle alzado (game prior to the mud bowl) was another game worthy of mention

I think it was the SD playoff game, I do not like the posters description of we won because of a missed field goal.
We had that game won in regualtion and then "bam" a flashback to the roughing the passer penalty of Cleveland so years earlier and the game gets to OT, but in this case the Jets found a way to win. It was a great game.
I would even out the loss the following week at Pitt above most of the regular season wins on the choice list.

The real game of the decade was September 23, 2001, a 10-3 win at NE, this is the game that shaped our decade.

This is the one for me, my wife came downstairs just as Barton gave away the penalty and asked when I was coming to bed (it was about 5am), I murmoured that I would be up very shortly as we were about to lose. I was wrong.:beer::beer:

Ah I forgot about 98'... I meant to say first since 1969, but I spaced on the 1998 title as well..

Either way though, I think that was the game/day of the decade for the Jets.

Decades still not over we could have an amazing run here-

Even though the games would be played in 2010 won't that count for the 09 season??

No Question: Jets beat Green Bay and steal the AFC East title.

it's been a good decade to be a Jets fan, I mean A LOT of ups and downs, but we've made the playoffs at a decent amount, maybe change is coming in Jet land, it's been crazy after that Fake spike by Marino shit went DOWN THE DRAIN, horrible seasons and now were making our way back up, definitely a better decade then the Phins and Bills, i'll take that, maybe next decade we'll be better then the Patriots as well and we'll be the AFC EAST BEAST

But MNM and the Packers game best 2 couldn't decide

I think the best game of the decade was the Monday Night Miracle, but the Moment of the Decade for the Jets I think it is against the Packers in 02 when they got the miracle by NE to beat the Fins to give us a shot at the division crown. Just because it was a home game and they entire stadium went nuts when they showed that clip on the video screen.

    Monday night miracle for me,

Followed by the Indy 41-0 drubbing, and the week 17 schlacking of GB to get in, in 02. Also the Pats/Titans games last year and this year had us thinking things we havent realistically thought since Doug Brien and probably sanely had a real chance since 98.

The pure emotion and fired-up ness was just pure insanity around here after those monster victories.
