LOL. Greatest post ever. Having said that, I really enjoy the Revis Island line. (and I happen to think Greg Gumble is a very good play by play announcer - despite him not being able to tell which Jet running back is carrying the ball)
Charles Woodson was toasted vs the Steelers the week before but that does not mean he loses mentioning.
That flag was bullshit. Anyway, Manning and Wayne played the majority of the game and neither of them scored. Revis did his job.
WTF? 3 catches for 33 yards and Revis was the one who had a bad day? I don't get it. Was I watching the same game or a few of the posters just lost it?
also I believe the last one the Jets were in zone coverage, so that one should not count against Revis.
It was only an ok game for REVIS. He has set the bar so high that if you're not flawless, it's a bad game.
I think Sharper will win the award. Another INT this week. He will be the "old man" favorite to win it.
I think if Revis comes up with a pick 6, or just completely shuts down Chad next week and we win, he wins DPOY.
Wayne had Revis beat a couple of times and Manning missed him. Usually Revis is on his guy like glue, but Wayne did pretty well against him even if he only had 33 yards.
I saw that as Peyton being so scared of Revis that he didn't really want to throw in his direction, lol. So Peyton is scared of Revis, it's official.
