Henne parked his ass on the bench for an entire year. Hopefully he learned something while he was there. Sanchez was thrown to the wolves and under the circumstances has done pretty well.
Or these stats: Henne also has less games rated over 100 (3 for mark to 1 for him) and less games rated over 80 ( 7 for mark to 5 for chad). Its no wonder Jets fans think Mark has a higher celling than Henne. He has had more "good" games then Henne has. If he learns to limit mistakes he will be jsut fine. Guessing you left those little facts out of the picture because it did not support your argument?
Also Sanchez has more 20+ and 40+ yard plays.... His yardage total is slightly less, but it's on far less completions.
Henne is hands down the better slider, without a doubt. On the other hand, Sanchez is better at banging modles which is a must in the NY area (Ex Derek Jeter). In the long run you have to take Sanchez based on those stats.
Henne, 2-0 against the Jets Sanchez, 0-2 against the Dolphins Nuff Said !!!!!! See you next year.......
Who's gunna make those big plays down the field though on the Fins? What WR or TE? We dont have any receiver that can run the top half of the route tree other than Ginn... and Ginn is terrible... Sanchez's weapons, both WR and TE, have much more vertical ability...
You do know that Henne is 7-3 as a starter right? You do know that he has lead his team this year to a come back victory on three different occasions right? I agree that Sanchez will be good in the future, but chill out with the higher ceiling crap please. Henne is learning on the field just like Sanchez. Matter of fact, Sanchez has two more starts than Henne at this point.
I love how dolphin fans can throw that at us when they have JASON TAYLOR on their team who is legendary for 2 things- never showing up in a big game and crying his eyes out after losses.
But if you are going to look at the numbers and draw a conclusion based on them... wouldnt it be best to actually look deeper into those numbers, and see how they were accumulated. An example of it going the other way would be to look at a QB who what 250 yards passing in a game... pretty solid game, right? But 150 yards of that came on 2 huge screen plays. In that case, the overall numbers didnt tell the true story... Henne has 6 4th quarter INTs in his 10 starts... but 2/3rds of them werent bad throws/decisions... just bad breaks or throwing up a prayer at the end of the game...
I quote this so that Fin fans see it twice. EDIT: holy fuck, i go to find a picture of Taylor crying, and all I get is this faget modeling... on the first page of images. It takes 4 pages in to get to sanchez pictures, but he's with a hot girl who he then dated and fucked for a while. Jason Taylor is alone, with his legs spread waiting for sausage. Gay Xerxes.
In his 10 starts, hes thrown 1. On 4th and 13 against the Saints. We ran a playaction. The second he turned around from the fake, he had a guy about to hit him. He just threw up a prayer, b/c if he takes the sack... the games over. That wasnt him forcing the ball into double coverage or misreading a defense...
Great!!!! What is your goal here? To try and convince a bunch of Jet fans that Henne is better then Sanchize? Obviously that is not going to happen, please check back in a year or two.
