I can't look this far ahead because one pick-6 by any of our QB's could be our undoing. We are riding a very thin line. Every game from here on in should be treated like a playoff game.
Since he played andre johnson week 1 I have been waiting to see him take on Reggie. Payton and Reggie vs Revis is the match up of the year. I can see wayne having a good game but only if he forces him the ball to much and revis also gets a pick or 2.
Schein said on Jets postgame that he talked with jim caldwell and the colts are not worried about going undefeated. He seemed convinced that they will sit their starters by the time they play the jets.
Beating Indy will be tough but not impossible, even if they are 14-0. If the Jets are still in the playoff race by the Cincy game, they definately can beat the Bengals, even if they play there starters. Here's to hoping the last game means something.
If the Jets can get into the playoffs by beating Cincy, the stadium better be rockin' that day. I have to resist getting ahead of myself.
jets have number 1 d in total yards and above all number 1 in passing yards which is what is needed to neutralize payton
you could almost say that the Jets are in a prime position to be that trap game if they are 14-0. that would mean the Jets are fully healthy and the Colts are still banged up the way they are.
Is it really a trap game if the Jets are facing Jim Sorgi or Chris Painter? We might not need to worry about Peyton if they make it to 14-0. Hell, even at 13-1 they could still sit Peyton.
I'm not convinced. Dungy never tried for it and Cadlwell hasn't really shown that he's at all different.
if payton plays whether wHere in the hunt or not, and the colts loose or undeafeated....hes going to be hit....ALOT!!!!
that, and the fact that the Pats didn't go 16-0 when the Colts kept making runs at perfection. Since Brady has it I bet you Peyton want it too if he can get all 16 wins.
