    This is the best I have ever seen him play, hitting harder, getting sacks, fumbles, INTs. He is the complete package, I would put him on par with the best ILBs in the game today.

    We should trade him for Brandon Marshall. He's only a 2 down linebacker.

    2 reasons;

    a) he's healthy this year
    b) Bart Scott

    Since Scott got here, he's taken on much more of a leadership role. I think bringing in Scott might have motivated him to play at new level, for job security. Whenever I see him between snaps, he commands the huddle. He's more vocal, as well as what you mentioned in the OP. He's just playing like a crazy man. Like he's becoming the Ray Lewis of the Jets.

    not a chance we could pull that trade off straight up, and I don't think I'd want to give up Harris and picks for Marshall right now considering that leaves us in a bad position to replace Harris.

    Edit: unless I need sarcasm goggles....

    I wish he'd have that same effect on Gholston.

    He should make the pro bowl. Bart Scott is still a more recognizable name, but anybody who's been watching Jets games knows which is the better linebacker. Bart Scott infuriates me at least once a game with a terrible effort in the open field, I think getting that big contract has him resting on his laurels a bit. Harris on the other hand has elevated his game, he's the only guy on this defense I ever see laying a big hit on anybody.

    Eric Smith begs to differ.

    Harris has been great freelancing on run defense, and he is very quick to the passer when they put him in a delay blitz, and he is a solid tackler. But... I re-watched a few games last week and he does on occasion make his fair share of arm tackles. He is definitely progressing very quickly in this offense, though.

    Championship! Tough runner, he will be Riggins part two. Then he'll demand a trade to the Redskins.

    He's having a great year and I agree he is right up there with the other top ILB's.
